Supporting Learning Throughout the Veterinary Community

Our Clinical Team, comprising of vets and a radiographer, plays a key role in providing valuable industry-leading educational content through our IMV imaging Academy. We are committed to delivering not only industry-leading veterinary ultrasound, X-ray, and 3D imaging products but also the education and support to help our customers develop their skills and build confidence in diagnostic imaging.
Like the technology we sell and maintain, veterinary medicine is an ever-advancing field with a continually expanding pool of knowledge. Keeping up with the latest developments is not easy - but we are here to help.
IMV imaging Journal Club
The IMV imaging Journal Club was created in order to support both our veterinary staff members as well as the wider veterinary community in keeping up to date with the very latest developments in diagnostic imaging.
Each month, we will identify relevant recent publications or develop critically appraised topics and summarise the findings at our Journal Club meetings. Everyone is welcome, from students starting out to more experienced veterinary professionals.
So, how does it work?
Journal Club Presentation
Once a month, a vet from our Clinical or Account Management teams will present a summary of a recently published research paper or critically appraised topic based on a clinically relevant question.
These presentations are presented in webinar format and are recorded and made available for anyone to view on-demand on our IMV imaging website.
What next?
Once you have watched the month’s Journal Club presentation, you then have the chance to bring your input to Journal Club –you can email us with your questions or comments at clinical@imv-imaging.com and register to join us for the “Live Discussion” follow up session, where questions and further thoughts are discussed.
Live Discussion
Following each presentation, we will schedule a live discussion. Here, the IMV imaging team will discuss our own thoughts on the presentation, as well as any questions received after the presentation or submitted during the live discussion through the chat function.
