As previously mentioned, a key focus for the IMV imaging business in 2021 and beyond is re-engaging with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and a key aspect of this is doing our bit to improve the quality of life for our workforce as well as that of the local community, veterinary community and society as a whole.
We have recently launched a number of initiatives which will help us to meet our goals in the areas of charity work and fundraising activities and the commitment and support of our IMV imaging employees will be vital to the success of these.
With the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament taking place, some of the IMVi team have been inspired to pull their football boots back, get fitter and engage in some friendly (mostly!) competition with their colleagues..and they are raising money for a fantastic cause at the same time!
Employees from across various departments in the business have arranged a bi-weekly 7 a side football game with each individual paying to take part and £1 of each fee being donated to our fundraising for Guide Dogs UK.
With visions of being the next Lionel Messi or Ronaldo (let's not get into who is better!) the players will also be logging the miles the manage to run during the games to help us reach our target for our IMVi Miles challenge.
We are delighted that our employees have taken the initiative to organise an initiative that enables them to get active and looking after their physical and mental health but also raises money for a fantastic cause.
